When you complete your Web and Graphic Designer program you should demonstrate the ability to:
- Understand the essential components of HTML
- Master how to best utilize HTML and take full advantage of its capabilities
- Master the aspects of cascading style sheets including embedding style sheets, applying color, comments, text and font styles, class and id styles, margins, padding, and much more.
- Master Adobe® Illustrator® CS4. Using this comprehensive vector graphics environment with new transparency in gradients and multiple artboards that will allow you to design efficiently.
- Master Adobe® InDesign® CS4. You will be able to break down the barriers between online and offline publishing. You will be able to create compelling print layouts, immersive content for playback in the Adobe Flash® Player runtime, and interactive PDF documents.
- Master Adobe® Flash® CS4. You will use the industry-leading authoring environment for creating engaging interactive experiences to deliver to audiences across platforms and devices
- Master Adobe® Photoshop® CS4 to give greater editing freedom, and significant productivity with its unrivaled power created by the latest enhancements.
- Build high quality websites with one of the industry's leading web authoring tools. Adobe® Dreamweaver® CS4.
- You will be able to gather, prepare, and share information in PDF files using Adobe® Acrobat® 9 software. Streamline document development and review. Simplify form creation and data collection. And combine multiple file types in polished PDF Portfolios that communicate clearly..
- Be prepared to sit for Industry exams including:
- Adobe Certified Associate: Rich Media Communication Using Adobe Flash
- Adobe Certified Associate: Web Communication using Adobe Dreamweaver
- Adobe Certified Associate: Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop

Web and Graphic Designer Certificate Program
This program is 228 clock hours or 11.5 weeks based on the required 20 hours per week.
